It’s no secret Arsenal have had a terrible transfer window and they’ve been struggling since the start of this season and also having troubles in making their star players renew their contract.
Arsenal manager and players have been a victim of criticism of several pundits and several legends.

But the one player who has been targeted the most is Mesut Ozil.

Mesut Ozil in his recent instagram post himself told that pundits have openly criticized him for being ‘too expensive, too greedy, bad body language and lacking fight’.
It’s been 4 years since his arrival at the North London club and no player has received as much criticism as the German has received.
Here’s what the German star had to say:

Mesut Ozil said:
Personally I’ve had to accept a lot of criticism during my time in London. “Too expensive, too greedy, bad body language, and lacking fight’. This is what people have said about me,” he wrote on Facebook.
Some of these comments are made by those who do not know me, some are made by former players, both successful and unsuccessful during their time here at the club.
Although criticism is something that all football players have to deal with, I nevertheless expected legends to behave like legends: my advice to these former Gunners: stop talking and start supporting!
Arsenal legend Ian Wright said if he really wants to shut the critics up he should commit his future to the club by signing a new contract. He said:
“Sign a contract, if you feel that strongly about people criticising the team — because you’re somebody who is integral to Arsenal’s success.
“You’re not signing a deal and you’re probably going to continue to hide behind the fact Sanchez is the one that everybody’s going to say, ‘Is he going to go?’.
“A player that is not actually performing on the pitch is coming out, calling people out — and he’s not signing a contract.
“It’s laughable. When they start playing, we’ll stop criticising. Ozil has been talking a lot — but what exactly is he doing? Sign a new contract and show how much you care about Arsenal.”

Another Arsenal legend Martin Keown slammed Ozil after the clash with Stoke saying:
“One of the main problems for Arsenal at Stoke last week was that Mesut Ozil did not want to close down with the other forwards,
It is very easy for Ozil to just try to be creative. If you are never pressing, you do not have to rebalance yourself when you get in possession.
Sanchez does both sides of the game very well. Arsenal need that in their team — and Sanchez will be urging Ozil to press with him.
Alexandre Lacazette and Sanchez will run off the ball for Ozil when he has the ball and they need him to do the same for them.

While we do feel the need for improvement in Arsenal’s squad but is the criticism of the Arsenal legends of Mesut Ozil just? Do you think their and other pundit’s opinion of Mesut Ozil is fair?
We hope we turn around the season in the following days after the international break and Mesut Ozil proves these pundits wrong.
YA GUNNERS YA! ')}
