Hector Bellerin slams clubs spending “£200million on players”

Hector Bellerin while defending Arsenal’s lack of signings compared to their rivals in an interview said:
Football is not just about spending money,
There are some clubs paying £100m and £200m on players but I do not think that’s the philosophy.
The important thing is to build a good team, a good block and get results from there. Sometimes it takes time while other clubs use money.
Each club have its own resources and its way of working. What matters is that on the pitch we give the maximum to prove that money is not everything.

Hector Bellerin was swift in defending his club and we believe he is right. Football is not the same as it used to be. Clubs with big resources are splashing money on anything they like.
This transfer window Premier League clubs spent in excess of £1.4billion including £210m on deadline day, to break the record for a sixth consecutive year.
Premier League rivals Manchester City made five major signings costing them around £220m while Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea spent in excess of £125m.
While Arsenal only signed two players one of which came as a free transfer and the other, Alexandre Lacazette costing them around £50m.
Lacazette has made a promising start to his career at Arsenal and we hope he continues this form. Hector labelled the ex-Lyon striker “dangerous”. He said:
‘Lacazette has already proved that he can make the difference,
He showed it in the pre-season and he prove it again against Bournemouth. He has shown that he is a very dangerous player and he makes those around him better.’

Although they too made a £92m bid for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar which failed but he still believes his team is good enough to challenge for the Premier League title. He said:
If we did not think that we could win the title, what we would we be doing here? It would not make any sense.
We train every day very hard to be able to win the Premier League. It has only been two bad games.
And I agree with everything he said. It’s not very Arsenal-like to go on a spending spree and spend extravagantly on players. Arsenal is a club with values that everyone appreciates and respects. What are we if we don’t respect our own values?

And yes, Lacazette is truly dangerous upfront. He’s gonna be a headache for every defense who has to line up against him.
And lastly, yes just because we lost two matches, we shouldn’t write ourselves off. We’re still standing strong and can give a tough competition for the Premier League title. Let’s just hope this is our season.
YA GUNNERS YA!
